Taillè is a wine made from a blend of Frappato and Perricone grapes. Frappato, a late-ripening red berry, and Perricone, a black berry, are native grape varieties, principles of the Etna area. Plants, late ripening, that give rise to wines of absolute finesse. Great reds for aging, in which olfactory sensations of red fruit, herbs, tobacco and spices predominate. Deep ruby red in color, Taillè opens on the nose with hints of ripe cherry, blackberry plum, clove and licorice, on the palate well balanced, fruity and persistent. Ideal paired with red meats and game.
